David Sommerville brings more than two decades of executive leadership across operations, e-commerce, cycling performance, and global brand development. He founded Sommerville Sports, a pioneering custom cycling apparel company later acquired by Verge Sport, where he continued leading large-scale operations for nearly a decade. He managed hundreds of staff and oversaw delivery of more than one million products worldwide.

Today, his work focuses on strategic consulting and digital transformation for high-growth businesses. He helps shape digital presence end to end, from Shopify and Squarespace commerce to custom full-stack PHP platforms, websites, internal tools, ordering systems, and integrations. The technology is connected to real operating needs across sales, product, logistics, fulfillment, and customer experience.

David is also founder and head coach of Sommerville.cc, supporting athlete development and lifelong engagement in sport. An active competitive cyclist, he has nearly four decades of racing experience and more than 1,800 race numbers pinned. From transforming fulfillment pipelines to pioneering online ordering technology, his work brings tactical execution together with a long view.
